 ALAN MORRISON:  En Plein Air:  Paint Brisbane Landmarks  

The course is specifically designed for the beginner to intermediate student.  Learn about tone, colour and colour mixing, perspective, composition and design principles.  Alan will help you evolve your own particular style according to what direction you want to take your arts practice, whether as a hobby or to progress as a serious artist.  Alan recently emigrated from Scotland where he studied fine arts, winning the coveted Newbury Medal, & his portrait painting has been shown in the National Portrait Gallery, London.  Alan has worked all over the world completing projects in Scenic and Mural Art as well as completing Trompe l’oeil and Specialist Decorations for wealthy clients.

Dates:  Commence Wednesday 17 March 2010 (10 weeks)

17, 24, 31 March; 14, 21, 28 April; 12, 19, 26 May; 2 June 2010.    

No Classes:         7 April and 5 May 2010

Time:  10.00am to 2.00pm
